From Westchester Methodist Church
Westchester, 1950
Westchester Methodist Church (now Westchester United Methodist Church) was founded in 1945 and is located at 8065 Emerson Avenue.
Today, the Church is a “reconciling congregation,” which means it publicly welcomes all person, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, to fully participate in congregational life.
The Church’s website proclaims; “You’re welcome here if you’re just visiting, just woke up, or just got out of jail. We don’t care if you’re more Catholic than the Pope or more Methodist than John Wesley, or if you never stepped foot into a church before.”
This cookbook contains hand-written recipes, along with a directory of local bussinesses.
